WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 2 warning for rain leading to localized flooding of formal and informal settlements, roads and low lying areas expected along the south-coast and adjacent interior of the Eastern Cape. B. Orange level 5 warning for disruptive snow resulting in traffic disruptions and closure of most passes and some communities temporarily inaccessible expected over the high lying areas of the northern parts of Eastern Cape and Drakensberg. 1. Extremely high fire danger conditions expected over the south eastern parts of the North-West province. ADVISORIES
1. Very cold conditions are expected to set in over the southern interior of Namakwa in the Northern Cape,the Central Karoo, Cape Winelands and the interior of Garden Route in the Western Cape spreading to the eastern and central parts of the Northern Cape on Friday evening into Sunday morning, the above includes the southern and eastern parts of the Free State, the northern parts of the Eastern Cape, the south-western escarpment of KZN, escarpment of both Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The public and small stock farmers are advised to take necessary precautions.
2. Significant rainfall amounts exceeding 30mm in 24 hours are expected over the eastern Northern Cape on Saturday with more rainfall expected on Sunday which can contribute to difficult driving conditions.
3. Light snowfall is expected over the southern parts of both the Northern Cape and Free State from Friday evening until Saturday morning.

GAUTENG PROVINCE
Cloudy and cold but cool in the north. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low
MPUMALANGA PROVINCE
Cloudy, windy and cold to very cold but cool in the Lowveld. Drizzle can be expected along the escarpment at times.
LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and cool but cold along the escarpment with drizzle from the afternoon. It will be warm in places in the south-western Bushveld.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and cool to warm.
FREE STATE
Fine becoming partly cloudy, windy and cold to cool, but cloudy and very cold, with isolated showers and rain in the south and east. Light snowfall can be expected over the extreme southern parts.
NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy with isolated morning showers and rain in the south, where it will be very cold, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and cold to cool. Isolated showers are expected in the south-east, while becoming fine in the west in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.
WESTERN CAPE
Fine in the west, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with morning showers along the south-coast and eastern interior, becoming partly cloudy by afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly becoming strong in the south-west from the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate
WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Windy over the northern interior, otherwise cloudy and cold to very cold, with scattered rain and showers, clearing in the afternoon. Moderate snowfall expected on the high lying areas. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming easterly in the afternoon.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy and cold to very cold, with scattered rain and showers, but partly cloudy and windy in the north-western interior. Moderate snowfall is expected over the high lying areas from late afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming southerly in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Cloudy and cold with scattered showers and rain but very cold in the west where isolated showers and rain are expected. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low
