A. Yellow level 2 warning Disruptive rain leading to loca- lised flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements is expected over the Swellendam, Hessequa and Mosselbay Local Municipalities of the Western Cape. B. Yellow level 2 warning Severe thunderstorms with possible strong damaging winds, hail and heavy downpours are expected over the extreme eastern parts of Free State, eastern parts of North West, Gauteng, northern interior of KwaZulu-Natal, south-eastern parts of Limpopo and parts of Mpumalanga, except in the extreme north-east. FIRE DANGER

WARNINGS

– A. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and northern parts of the Northern Cape. ADVISORIES Nil.

GAUTENG PROVINCE

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thunder- showers, but isolated over the Bushbuckridge.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the north and east, except in the Limpopo Valley.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Fine in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy, windy, and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east. It will be very hot in the west.

FREE STATE

Morning fog in the extreme east, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme south-west, but scattered in the extreme east.

NORTHERN CAPE

Morning fog in the extreme south-east, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east and south. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh south-easterly along the south and south-west coast from mid-day.

WESTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy in the west, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered showers and rain, except in thenorth-west, but widespread along the south-coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south- easterly but strong along the south-west coast. The expected UVB sunburn Index Extreme

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and rain, but wide-spread along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly, but light to moderate south-westerly in the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Partly Cloudy with isolated thundershowers in the extreme north, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and rain, but widespread along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh southerly in the afternoon.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly in the north, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
