1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over !Kheis, Siyathemba and Ubuntu Local Municipalitis of the Northern Cape. ADVISORIES
1. An intense Cut-Off Low pressure system is expected to affect the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape Provinces Friday to Sunday (12-14/05/2023). The public and small stock farmers are advised that very cold and wet conditions with light snowfalls on the mountain peaks, strong winds and rough seas can be expected. Heavy rain could result in localised flooding in places along the coast and adjacent interior.

Fine and cool.
NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy in the west with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly from the afternoon, reaching strong towards the evening.
WESTERN CAPE
Fine to partly cloudy over the eastern parts in the morning, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with isolated to scattered showers over the south-western parts spreading to the southern parts by the afternoon. Morning fog expected along the west coast. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north- westerly north of Cape Columbine becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly from the afternoon, otherwise fresh to strong westerly to north-westerly becoming strong southerly to south-westerly from the afternoon, but south- easterly between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas from the evening. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but cool in the south. It will become cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north- westerly at first, otherwise fresh to strong south-westerly.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cool in places in the north, otherwise fine and warm, becoming cloudy south of the escarpment from the afternoon. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the south-west from the evening. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly from late morning.
KWAZULU-NATAL
