WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 2 warning for RAIN resulting in localized flooding, is expected in the Overberg, City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands and the coastal areas of the Garden Route Districts in the Western Cape, spreading to Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. B. Yellow level 3 warning for SNOW leading to possible loss of livestock and crops is expected over the high lying areas of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape, as well as the southern interior of Namakwa in the Northern Cape. C. Yellow level 2 warning for COASTAL WIND (55-65km/h) resulting in localised disruptions of small harbours and ports for a short period is expected between Cape Point and East London. D. Yellow level 2 warning for WAVES (6 to 8m) resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Saldanha Bay and George, spreading to East London by the evening. FIRE DANGER

WESTERN CAPE
Cloudy and cold to very cold with scattered showers and rain but widespread along the south coast where localized flooding possible. Snowfalls is expected over the mountains. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly to north-westerly becoming southerly to south-westerly from the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low
WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
– Cloudy and cold with isolated showers and rain but scattered along the coast. Snowfall is expected over the high lying areas. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly, becoming near-gale to gale force south westerly from the afternoon.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Very cold north of the escarpment where snowfall is expected, otherwise partly cloudy with isolated showers and rain in the west. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, reaching near-gale force from the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Fine in the north where it will be warm, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly in the extreme north at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly. The expected UVB sunburn Index High
