KWAZULU-NATAL

Yellow (Level 2) warning for disruptive rain which might lead to localized flooding of susceptible informal settlements, roads and low lying bridges and may also result in difficult driving conditions due to slippery roads and poor visibility can be expected over most parts of KwaZulu-Natal, the central and eastern parts of both North West and the Free State spreading to parts of the Lowveld of Limpopo in the evening.

Yellow (Level 2) warning for wind (south-easterly) with possible localized damage to properties, problems for high sided vehicles as well as temporary closure of major routes (N2-Sir Lowry’s Pass and N1- Huguenot Tunnel) until Saturday evening over Cape Metropole, south western parts of Cape Winelands and western parts of the Overberg Districts of the Western Cape.
