WARNINGS
1.
Extremely high fire danger conditions expected over the Swellendam, Central and Little Karoo District Municipalities of the Western Cape as well as the Namakwa District of the Northern Cape.
2.
Gale force NW`ly winds of (57-74km/h) expected between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas.

Severe thunderstorms leading to localized flooding expected over the Central Karoo of the Western Cape.
SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES
1.
Extremely hot and humid conditions resulting in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the western and central parts of the Eastern Cape as well as the Swellendam and Hassequa municipalities of the Western Cape.
2.
Strong north-westerly winds of (36-56km/h) expected over the Breede River Valley, Central and the Little Karoo of the Western Cape and the southern high ground of Namakwa District of the Northern Cape.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Cloudy in the east in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the west in the afternoon.
FREE STATE
Hot in the north-west, otherwise fine and warm but partly cloudy in the west with isolated thundershowers in the extreme west.
NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy and cool with morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers but very hot over the interior.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly.
WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in places over the eastern and central interior.
It will be extremely hot in places in the southern parts.
Isolated to scattered thundershowers expected over the interior, spreading to the south-coast in the late afternoon.
Light drizzle and foggy conditions can be expected along the west and south-west coast in the morning.
The wind along the coast will be strong north-westerly reaching gale force between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas.

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog patches in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers.
It will become cloudy with scattered thundershowers in the north-west mid-morning spreading southwards.
The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh south-westerly from the west from the afternoon.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog patches in places in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west where it will be cloudy.
The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh south-westerly from the west from the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy with fog in the east at first otherwise fine and warm but hot in places in the north.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly.
