WARNINGS

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the West Coast District, Central and Little Karoo as well as Cape Winelands of the Western Cape and western interior of the Northern Cape.

Extremely hot conditions are expected over the Northern Cape coastal areas and adjacent interior as well as the West Coast District, Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo and in places in the Garden Route District of the Western Cape.

GAUTENG PROVINCE

Cloudy at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Cloudy at first with fog patches over the Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Cloudy in the morning with fog in the southeastern escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm.

FREE STATE

Fine and warm, but partly cloudy and cool in the northeast.

NORTHERN CAPE

Fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in the south-west.

It will become partly cloudy from the afternoon.

It will be warm along the coast.

The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly to north-westerly, becoming southerly to south-westerly in the evening.

WESTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy at first over the southwestern parts, otherwise fine and very hot to extremely hot in places over interior and along the south coast.

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly to easterly becoming moderate westerly to southwesterly along the west coast in the afternoon.

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places in the west.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming light to moderate westerly by late evening.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm.

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly in the north otherwise gentle northerly to north-westerly, becoming moderate east to north-easterly in the afternoon.
