A. Extremely high fire conditions are expected over the central and western parts of the Western Cape as well as the western interior Northern Cape. ADVISORIES A. Extremely hot conditions (maximum temperatures >40 degrees) are expected over the West Coast District (W.Cape). B. Uncomfortable and very hot conditions are expected in places over the Western Cape and parts of Namakwa District of the Northern Cape).

GAUTENG PROVINCE

– Partly cloudy and cool to warm. The expected UVB sunburn Index High

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Morning fog on the highveld with a chance of drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Morning fog and a chance of drizzle on the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy during the day.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm.

FREE STATE

– Partly cloudy and warm but fine in the south.

NORTHERN CAPE

Morning fog along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the north-east where isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected. The wind along the coast will be light southerly in the morning becoming light to moderate north-westerly from late morning.

WESTERN CAPE

Morning and evening fog along the west coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot but extremely hot over the West Coast District. It will be warm along the south coast. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-easterly to southerly but fresh to strong along the south coast, becoming light to moderate north-westerly along the west coast from late morning. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

– Partly cloudy at first, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in places in the extremely west. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly, becoming strong in the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy in places along Wild coast with a chance of morning drizzle, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, but fine in places in the north. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

– Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly becoming easterly to north-easterly in the south by afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate
