Yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall leading to localized flooding of susceptible roads and already vulnerable low lying areas and bridges as well as poor driving conditions is expected over Gauteng, eastern parts of the North West, in places in Mpumalanga and the central and southern parts of Limpopo. LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Cloudy and warm to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the central and southern parts.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Cloudy and warm with morning fog patches, becoming partly cloudy from the west with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east where it will be cool.
FREE STATE
Hot in the extreme west, otherwise cloudy and warm with morning fog patches, becoming partly cloudy from the west with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east where it will be cool in places.
NORTHERN CAPE
Cloudy with fog along the coast in the morning where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in the north. It will become partly cloudy in the north-east with isolated afternoon thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly but fresh to strong in the afternoon.
WESTERN CAPE
Cloudy to partly cloudy over the southern parts and in places in the north in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot over the Central Karoo. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the south coast in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly reaching strong in places north of Betty’s Bay from the afternoon. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and warm, but hot in the north with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly from late morning, reaching strong in places.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog over the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and warm with showers and thundershowers over the interior from the afternoon, but light rain south of the escarpment. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.
KWAZULU-NATAL
