WARNINGS

A. Yellow level 4 warning for damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Plettenberg Bay and Alexander Bay. B. Yellow level 1 warning for damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward C. Yellow level 1 warning for damaging winds which may lead to difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels are expected between Plettenberg Bay and Maputo. D. Yellow level 1 warning for damaging winds which may lead to localised damage to formal and informal settlements along the KZN coast. E. Yellow level 1 warning for disruptive snow is expected over the mountains and high ground of the Eastern Cape, the south-western parts of the Northern Cape, the north-western parts of the Western Cape as well as the extreme south-western parts of KZN. FIRE DANGER

WARNINGS

1. Extreme high fire danger conditions are expected in the eastern parts of both the Free State and the North-West, the central parts of Mpumalanga and in places over Limpopo, except in the extreme south-east. ADVISORIES

1. Very cold, windy and wet conditions with possible light snowfalls over the mountains are expected in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape as well as the interior of Western Cape.

GAUTENG PROVINCE

Fine and warm to hot in the north. The expected UVB sunburn Index Extreme

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Fine and warm to hot, but very hot to extremely hot in the Lowveld. It will become partly cloudy in the south in the evening with isolated showers and thundershowers.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Fine and hot to very hot.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Warm in the east, otherwise fine, windy and cold to cool.

FREE STATE

Warm in the east, otherwise fine, windy and cold to cool, becoming partly cloudy in the west in the afternoon.

NORTHERN CAPE

Partly cloudy, windy and very cold to cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the north-east. It will be cloudy and very cold in the south with scattered rain and snow-showers in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to strong in the south-westerly becoming light to moderate westerly by the afternoon.

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold to very cold with scattered to widespread showers and rain but isolated in the north-east. It will become partly cloudy in the west from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly, but strong in the morning. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast. Snowfalls can be expected on the mountain peaks. The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold to very cold, with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast. Snowfalls can be expected on the mountain peaks and high-lying areas. The wind along the coast will be moderate to strong south-westerly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Cloudy and cool to cold with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-westerly in the extreme north at first, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly, becoming strong in the afternoon.
