Yellow Level 1 Warning for Damaging Winds resulting in localised damage to property and localised disruptions to travel routes, are expected along the western Lesotho border in the southern Free State, as well as Senqu, Sakhisizwe, Elundini, Matatiele and Umzimvubu Local Municipalities in the Eastern Cape. NORTHERN CAPE

Morning fog patches in the west, otherwise fine and cold to cool, but warm in the east where it will be windy. Moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, reaching strong at times.

WESTERN CAPE

Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool, but cloudy in the south with light rain and showers along the south coast from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly reaching strong at times between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay, becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly in the evening. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy in the south with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south- westerly.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south westerly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Fine and warm to hot, but cool in the south-east, where it will be partly cloudy. It will become cloudy in the south- east with isolated showers and rain by the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north- easterly north of Mandeni, otherwise moderate south-westerly, spreading to Richards Bay in the evening.
