A. Extreme high fire danger conditions are expected over the Northern Cape interior, the north-western interior of the Eastern Cape and the Central Karoo in the Western Cape Districts. ADVISORIES – A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in Central and Little Karoo regions in the Western Cape, as well Sarah Baartman District, Inxuba Yethemba and Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipalities from Monday until Wednesday (09-11/01/2023).

WESTERN CAPE
– Cloudy with fog patches along the south coast, Breede Valley and extreme western parts in the morning and evening, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places over the Karoo. It will be partly cloudy over the north-east in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning, otherwise light to moderate southerly to south-westerly, but fresh to strong south-easterly along the south-west coast at first.
