A. Orange Level 5 Warning for Disruptive Rain leading to flooding of roads and settlements(formal and informal), danger to life(fast flowing streams/deep water), displacement of affected communities, damage to property, infrastructure, loss of livelihood and livestock, major disruption of traffic flow due to major roads being flooded or closed, possible damage to roads and bridges, isolated incidents of communicable diseases, isolated cases of breakages of dam walls, damage to mud-based/make-shift houses/structures, disruption of access to drinking water and damage to crops expected over the extreme north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, Lowveld and Escarpment of Mpumalanga, Limpopo province excluding the southern central parts as well as the extreme north-eastern parts of the North-West. B. Yellow Level 2 Warning for Disruptive Rain leading to localised flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements or roads, low lying areas and bridges, major roads affected but can be used, increase travel times, difficult driving conditions on dirt roads, minor motor vehicle accidents due to slippery roads, closure of roads crossing low water bridges, localised and short term disruption to municipal services(water, electricity, hospitals, schools etc), localised mudslides, rockfalls and soil erosion, localised disruption due to sinkholes, potholes/blocked drainage systems, localised damage to mud-based/make-shift houses/structures, localised access to drinking water and damage to crops expected in places over the extreme eastern parts of the North-West, Gauteng, southern central parts of Limpopo, Highveld of Mpumalanga, north-eastern parts of Free State and KwaZulu-Natal excluding the north-east. 1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the Cape Winelands District, Swartland Municipality in the Western Cape, Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg, Dawid Kruiper and Kai !Garib Local Municipalities in the Northern Cape. ADVISORIES
1. Extremely uncomfortable hot and humid conditions are expected over most parts in the Western Cape and in places over Namakwa in the Northern Cape.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Morning fog along the escarpment and Limpopo Valley, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with widespread showers and thundershowers.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Cloudy and warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the east.
FREE STATE
Cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the eastern and central parts.
NORTHERN CAPE
Morning fog along the coast, where it will be fine, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly.
WESTERN CAPE
Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places over the interior where it will become partly cloudy from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly along the south-coast and south of Cape Point, otherwise light northerly to north-westerly. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north, but cloudy in places. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong easterly in the afternoon.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Warm in places, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered in the east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming fresh in the south from the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but warm in places in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly becoming moderate south-easterly in the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low
