1. Extremely high fire conditions are expected over the southern parts of Namakwa Land in the Northern Cape, Central Karoo and interior of Garden Route including the Hessequa and George Municipalities in the Western Cape, as well as Dr Beyers Naude and Inxuba Yethemba. ADVISORIES – Nil.

GAUTENG PROVINCE

– Fine and cool. The expected UVB sunburn Index Very High

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

– Partly cloudy in the east with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

– Drizzle over the northern escarpment with morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Fine and cool.

FREE STATE

Fine and cool.

NORTHERN CAPE

Fine and cool, but warm in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly.

WESTERN CAPE

Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the south-west with evening drizzle over the Cape Peninsula. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate touching fresh westerly to north-westerly, becoming south-westerly along the south coast from mid-morning spreading eastwards. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Fine and warm. It will be windy in places over the western interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly, but fresh in places, becoming north-easterly in the Port Alfred area in the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

– Fine and warm, but cool on the high-ground. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming light north-easterly late morning.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Partly cloudy in the north-east at first, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly, becoming fresh in the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate
