WARNINGS

1. Yellow Level 2 Warning for Damaging Waves expected along the coastline between Plettenberg Bay and Cannon Rocks resulting in localized disruptions to beachfront activities, with small vessels being at risk of taking on water and capsizing within a locality. FIRE DANGER

WARNINGS

1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places in the Cederberg and Swellendam municipalities, places over the Cape Winelands and Little Karoo, as well as in the Central Karoo in the Western Cape and the western parts of the Eastern Cape. ADVISORIES

1. Extremely hot conditions expected in places over the Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo and the Swellendam municipalities in the Western Cape, and the western areas of the Eastern Cape.

2. Heat wave conditions are expected mainly over the southern high ground of Namakwa in the Northern Cape, the Cape Winelands, parts of the interior of the West Coast, the Cape Metropole and Theewaterskloof LM,and the Little Karoo in the Western Cape until Sunday.

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Cloudy in the east with isolated showers and rain along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Cloudy in the east with isolated showers and rain along the escarpment, where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the west.

FREE STATE

Partly cloudy and cool to warm.

NORTHERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in the western interior, with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the south west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.

WESTERN CAPE

Fine in the east at first, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and hot to very hot but extremely hot in the interior. Coastal fog can be expected along the coast in the morning and the evening with isolated showers in the north eastern parts by evening. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly in the west, otherwise south- easterly becoming westerly in the evening. The expected UVB sunburn Index High

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Warm to hot along the coast, otherwise fine and very hot, but extremely hot in places. It will become partly cloudy from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly, reaching strong east of Oyster Bay.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy in places south of the escarpment early morning, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in the west. It will become party cloudy in places from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Partly cloudy and warm, but cool in places in the west, with isolated showers and rain are expected in the north- east. The wind along the coast will be Moderate easterly to south-easterly becoming north-easterly from the south towards afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Extreme
