An orange 6 warning for severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, hail, damaging winds and excessive lightning expected over the western half of the Eastern Cape as well as the south-western parts of the eastern half of the Eastern Cape, resulting in damages to infrastructure, settlements, vehicles, livestock and livelihood. Heavy downpours expected to result in flooding of roads, settlements and low-lying areas as well as cause danger to life. B. Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorm expected over the central and western parts of the North-West, north-eastern and extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape, central and western parts of the Free State, the eastern half of the Eastern Cape excluding the south-western parts with heavy downpours, hail and lightning, resulting in flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements or roads, low lying areas and bridges, damages to infrastructure, vehicles, livelihood and livestock. GAUTENG PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm but cloudy in the isolated showers and thundershowers becoming scattered in the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the Highveld.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Cloudy and warm, with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers.

FREE STATE

Cool in the east, otherwise cloudy and warm, with SCATTERED TO WIDESPREAD showers and thundershowers.

NORTHERN CAPE

Cloudy along the coast at first, where it will be fine, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered to widespread in the east and south-east. The wind along the coast will be light and variable becoming moderate north-westerly in the afternoon.

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with drizzle along the western parts of the south coast in the morning but isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers over the interior from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to north-westerly in the west, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly. The expected UVB sunburn Index Very High

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy in places at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly but light south-westerly west of St. Francis, becoming light easterly in the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy with light rain along the coast and adjacent interior at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers. Severe thunderstorms are expected in places. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly but strong in the afternoon.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong in places at times. The expected UVB sunburn Index High
