WARNINGS

– A. An Orange Level 6 warning for Disruptive rain leading to flooding of roads and settlements, danger to life (fast flowing streams), damage to property, as well as major disruption of traffic flow along the coast and interior of the King Cetshwayo and uMkhanyakude Districts of KwaZulu- Natal. B. A Yellow Level 2 warning for Disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of informal settlements, roads, low lying areas and bridges as well as localised disruption to municipal services in places over Ugu District, Durban Metro, eastern parts of Umgungundlovu, iLembe District, western parts of King Cetshwayo, eastern parts of Zulu Land District, as well as Umvoti Local municipality . C. A Yellow Level 2 warning for Severe thunderstorms with possible damaging winds, large amount of small hail, and heavy downpours that may cause the breaking of tree branches and damage to poorly constructed settlements is expected over the western and central interior of Limpopo, exlcuding the extreme south -western parts. GAUTENG PROVINCE

Warm in the extreme north, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but partly cloudy in the south-west. The expected UVB sunburn Index High

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Warm in the Lowveld, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the extreme south-east.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the central and north-western parts.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Fine and warm but partly cloudy and cool in the east, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east.

FREE STATE

Cloudy, windy and cool in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, becoming fine by the afternoon.

NORTHERN CAPE

Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but hot in places in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly reaching fresh at times from the afternoon.

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy with fog patches for the Overberg in the early morning, but partly cloudy in the north-eastern interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot over the north-eastern interior. It will become cloudy along the south-west coast from evening. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the west and south-west coast at first, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly becoming strong in the west in the afternoon. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, becoming fine in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the Wild coast. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be fresh north easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool but cold in the western high-ground. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected, but widespread in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly, but fresh in the north becoming moderate north-easterly from the south in the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate
