Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms leading to hail and strong damaging winds are expected over the extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as the western and southern parts of the Free State. B. Yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of susceptible settlements, roads, low lying areas and bridges is expected over the northern and central interior of the Eastern Cape, including the coast. C. Yellow Level 2 warning for Damaging Waves leading to in difficulty in navigation at sea between Plettenberg Bay and Port Alfred. FIRE DANGER

GAUTENG PROVINCE

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the southern Highveld in the afternoon.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Morning fog patches in the extreme east at first, otherwise cloudy to partly and cool with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the afternoon.

FREE STATE

Morning fog patches in the east at first, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the east.

NORTHERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly becoming fresh south-westerly in the afternoon.

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the west and adjacent interior, as well as the eastern parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly along the south coast, otherwise fresh northerly becoming moderate by the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be light north-easterly becoming light westerly from late afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly

KWAZULU-NATAL
