Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thundershowers, which can lead to heavy downpours, hail, damaging winds and lightning, resulting in damage to property, flooded roads and service outages, along the Lesotho border and eastern parts of the Free State, as well as the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape Province. WARNINGS
1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Beaufort West municipality in the Western Cape and in places in the eastern parts of Northern Cape. ADVISORIES – Nil.

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE
– Cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the escarpment at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm. Scattered showers and thundershowers and thundershowers are expected from the west.
LIMPOPO PROVINCE
– Cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, clearing from the east, where it will be partly cloudy. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the west and south-west.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
– Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with afternoon showers and thundershowers.
FREE STATE

WESTERN CAPE
Fine in the north-east where it will be warm, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy along the south coast and the adjacent interior with isolated showers and rain, but scattered in the extreme south. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
– Morning fog patches is expected in places, otherwise fine and warm to hot. It will become cloudy with isolated showers and rain from the afternoon, but scattered in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly, becoming strong south-westerly from late morning.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
– Cloudy with fog patches south of the escarpment in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong south-westerly from the evening.
KWAZULU-NATAL
– Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the north. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly. The expected UVB sunburn Index Very High
