WARNINGS

A. Yellow Level 1 Warning Waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels and person watercraft are expected between Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas from Wednesday evening. These waves and the potential impacts are expected to spread to Plettenberg Bay and Alexander Bay on Thursday morning, subsiding from late afternoon. FIRE DANGER

WARNINGS

– Nil. ADVISORIES An intense Cut-Off Low pressure system is expected to affect the Western Cape and Namakwa District (Northern Cape) on Saturday and Sunday. The public and small stock farmers are advised that disruptive rain, damaging winds, damaging waves, storm surge, disruptive snow and very cold conditions can be expected (29-30/07/2023).

GAUTENG PROVINCE

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Morning fog over the Highveld and escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool, but warm over the Lowveld.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Morning fog over the central parts, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the south by the afternoon.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and cool to warm.

FREE STATE

Partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated to scattered showers in the south.

NORTHERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and cold to cool but cold in the south with isolated to scattered showers in the south but scattered in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south- easterly become light to moderate north-westerly by the evening.

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers over the northern interior. The wind along the coast will be light to variable, becoming moderate to fresh north-westerly by the evening along the south-west coast but south-westerly along the south-coast. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

– Fine and warm but cool along the coast and adjacent interior, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in places in the north. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming light to moderate south westerly from the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

– Fine and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, excluding the extreme eastern parts, but scattered in the north-west. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate south-westerly tonight.

KWAZULU-NATAL
