– Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Central Karoo, Little Karoo, Cape Winelands, Cederberg and Swellendam municipalities of the Western Cape, as well as, Kamiesberg and Hantam Districts in the Northern Cape. ADVISORIES A. A heatwave is expected to continue until Saturday with a persistently high temperatures in places over Sarah Baartman and Chris Hani District Municipalties, and Raymond Mhlaba and Amahlathi local municipalities in the Eastern Cape. B. Extremely uncomfortable and very hot conditions are expected in places over the Western Cape mainly the interior from Wednesday until Friday.

GAUTENG PROVINCE
– Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. The expected UVB sunburn Index Extreme
MPUMALANGA PROVINCE
– Partly cloudy and warm but cloudy in the east with isolated light showers and rain but drizzle on the Lowveld and escarpment areas.
LIMPOPO PROVINCE
– Cloudy in the east with isolated light showers and rain on the Lowveld and escarpment areas at times, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Fine in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the far east.
FREE STATE
– Fine, becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the west.
NORTHERN CAPE
– Cloudy along the coast at first where it will be warm, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east. Light and variable in the morning becoming fresh south-westerly in the afternoon.
WESTERN CAPE
– Cloudy along the south coast in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in places. It will be extremely hot over the Central and Little Karoo with afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers over the extreme north-eastern parts. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly at first along the south coast and southerly in the west and south-west, becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly from afternoon. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Warm to hot along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers but scattered in the north. Extremely hot conditions are expected in places over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly reaching strong east of Algoa Bay in the afternoon, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly west of Cape St Francis in the afternoon, spreading eastwards.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
– Fine to partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the extreme west and along the eastern escarpment. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north-easterly.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly. The expected UVB sunburn Index Very High
