Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Northern Cape, western and northern parts of North-West, Western Bushveld of Limpopo, Amajuba Local Municipality of KwaZulu-Natal as well as Joe Gqabi District Municipality and Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality of Eastern Cape. Heatwave conditions resulting in persistently high temperatures are expected over the eastern parts of both the North-West and Free State, southern parts of Gauteng as well as OR Tambo and Alfred Nzo District Municipality of the Eastern Cape from 04-06/10/202

Cloudy with fog patches over interior at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot. It will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers over interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south easterly, becoming north easterly by evening.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy with fog patches in places south of escapement at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot. It will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers over interior, spreading towards East London in the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy in the east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places over the interior. The wind along the coast will be Moderate northerly to north-westerly north of Richard’s Bay in the morning, otherwise south-westerly.
