PROVINCIAL WEATHER OVERVIEW

GAUTENG PROVINCE

Cloudy, becoming partly cloudy and cool in the afternoon, but warm in places in the north. The expected UVB sunburn Index High

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Cloudy and cool to warm with morning fog on the eastern Highveld and escarpment areas, with drizzle or light rain on the northern escarpment, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Cloudy and cool to warm with morning fog and drizzle or light rain along the escarpment, becoming partly cloudy from the west in the afternoon.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Fine and warm, but partly cloudy in the east where it will be cloudy in the morning.

FREE STATE

Cloudy with fog patches in the east at first where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm.

NORTHERN CAPE

Fine and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.

WESTERN CAPE

Morning fog along the south coast and south-western parts, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot over the western parts. The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the eastern part of the south coast in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to south- easterly. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Morning fog in places over the southern interior, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in places in the morning, otherwise light to moderate easterly, becoming fresh from mid-morning.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Morning fog in places south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm, but cool in places in the east. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly from late morning.

KWAZULU-NATAL
