We’ve been monitoring and reporting on this big cold front for several days now. It has now finally arrived and things should start to get interesting and rough for many.
The Big Cold Front has Arrived
The cold front is now just starting to make landfall and the real severe weather is expected to start soon.
Heavy rainfall, flooding, localized flooding, disruptive snowfalls, gale force winds and extremely cold conditions are to be expected across the Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Lesotho tonight into tomorrow.
Chances still persist for snowfalls to fall across the Free State and parts of Kwazulu-Natal.
Numerous warnings have been issued and are in effect. See below.
Load Shedding Resumes
Worst of all Eskom has announced Load Shedding merely 2 hours ago starting at 12:00. So with the very cold weather there is a good chance many will be sitting in the dark.
