A very severe storm hit parts of Gauteng today.
Actonville in Benoni was extremely hard hit with major amounts of hail and flooding. Alberton and other parts of Johannesburg also had intense hail causing widespread flooding and traffic chaos.
Warnings were issued by the Weather Services but the storm developed so quickly and became so intense it was hard to get this information across quick enough to those who would be affected.
