Yellow Level 2 Warning for Severe Thunderstorms that may result in heavy downpours leading to localized flooding that could result in damage to property or infrastructure, and flooding of roads/bridges and low lying areas resulting in difficulty in driving are expected over western and southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, highveld of Mpumalanga and the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape. Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld where it will be hot.
LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld and Limpopo Valley.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.
FREE STATE
Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the west. 6. THE NORTHERN CAPE Fine in the central and northern parts at first where it is very hot, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be cool over the north west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south easterly.
WESTERN CAPE
Morning fog in places along the west coast becoming fine and hot to very hot in places, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and warm to hot over the western and eastern interior with light rain along the south coast from the morning into the evening where it will be cool. Isolated thundershowers can be expected over the Central Karoo by the afternoon into the evening. The wind along the coast will be light and variable becoming moderate to fresh but strong to near gale force south-easterly winds are also expected between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas during the morning and spreading along the south coast by the evening. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy and warm but cool along the coast and adjacent interior with isolated showers and rain in the south. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the north by afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy and cool but warm in places in the west. Scattered showers and thundershowers expected. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and warm but cool in the south-west. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected but isolated in the north-east.
