GAUTENG PROVINCE

– Partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered thundershowers from the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

– Warm in the Lowveld, otherwise cloudy at times and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

– Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

FREE STATE

Hot in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

NORTHERN CAPE

– Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the east but scattered in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

WESTERN CAPE

Morning fog in places along the west coast, becoming fine by the afternoon, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and warm to hot but cool along the south coast with light rain by the evening. Isolated thundershowers can be expected over the Central Karoo by the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly reaching strong between Table Bay and Hermanus at first, spreading to Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas by the afternoon. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

– Cloudy in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers over the northern and central interior. It will be cool in places in the south with light rain possible in the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly, but light in places in the morning.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool south of the escarpment, with drizzle and light rain in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers, spreading to the coast in the evening. The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming light north-easterly, freshening from late morning.

KWAZULU-NATAL

– Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and warm but cool in the south. Scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected but isolated in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming south-easterly to easterly in the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Moderate
