WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 4 warning Disruptive rain which may lead to flooding of roads, bridges and settlements is expected along the coast and adjacent interior of KwaZulu-Natal. B. Yellow level 2 warning Severe thunderstorms leading to gusty winds, large amounts of small hail and heavy downpours leading to localised damage to settlements, flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges are expected over Gauteng, northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, southern escarpment and Highveld of Mpumalanga, south- western Limpopo, as well as over the eastern parts of North-West province and northern parts of the Free State. C. Yellow level 2 warning Disruptive Snow leading to closing of passes, dangerous driving conditions and loss of vulnerable livestock is expected over the north-eastern high-ground of the Eastern Cape and south-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal. D. Yellow level 2 Damaging winds resulting in localized damage to settlements (formal and informal), some transport routes and problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes are expected over the Northern Cape and the Matzikama Municipality of the Western Cape Province. E. Yellow level 2 warning Damaging Winds leading to difficulty in navigation at sea is, expected between Alexander Bay and Cape Agulhas. FIRE DANGER
WARNINGS
– A. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Namakwa District Municipality of the Northern Cape and Matzikama Local Municipality of Western Cape. ADVISORIES A. An intense cut-off low pressure system is expected to affect the southern, central and eastern parts of the country until Wednesday (01 November). The public and small stock farmers are advised that cold to very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected over the Eastern Cape, spreading to KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Limpopo and North West from Monday.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE
Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thunder- showers but isolated in the north.
NORTH-WEST PROVINCE
Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm to hot, with isolated to scattered showers and thunder- showers, except it the west.
FREE STATE
Partly cloudy, windy and cool to cold, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the east but widespread in the extreme east where snowfall is expected.
NORTHERN CAPE
Partly cloudy and cold in the south-east where isolated showers and light snow can be expected in the morning, otherwise fine, windy and cool to warm, but hot in the extreme west. Dust storms are possible along the coast in the morning. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south- easterly to easterly.
WESTERN CAPE
Fine and hot in the north-west, otherwise partly cloudy cool to warm, but cloudy along the coast. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south- easterly to easterly, but reaching gale force along the south-west coast. The expected UVB sunburn Index Very high
WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy, windy and cold with isolated showers of rain with snow on the high-lying areas, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. It will be cool along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south- easterly to easterly.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Cloudy, windy and cold with isolated showers of rain, but scattered in the extreme east. Snowfalls are expected over the high-lying areas. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly, becoming south- easterly in the afternoon.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Cloudy and cold but very cold in places in the west and Midlands. Widespread showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the south-west.
