YELLOW Level 4 Warning Disruptive rain leading to flooding of settlements roads, and low-lying bridges is expected over the Garden Route and eastern parts of the Overberg district municipality in the Western Cape, eastern parts of the North West province, Gauteng, southern parts of the Western Bushveld in Limpopo and the western parts of Mpumalanga. B. YELLOW Level 2 Warning Disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of settlements roads, and low-lying bridges is expected over the Koukamma, Kouga and Sundays River Local Municipalities as well as the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro in the Eastern Cape. PROVINCIAL WEATHER OVERVIEW

GAUTENG PROVINCE

– Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers becoming partly cloudy from afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index Low

MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

Morning fog along the escarpment and Highveld, otherwise cloudy and cool but hot in the Lowveld, with scattered showers and thundershowers in the west but isolated in the east. It will become partly cloudy by the late afternoon.

LIMPOPO PROVINCE

– Morning fog in the east, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers in the south-west and northern Limpopo Valley but isolated over the central parts. It will become partly cloudy by the late afternoon.

NORTH-WEST PROVINCE

Cloudy, windy and cool to warm with scattered to isolated showers and thundershowers except the western parts.

FREE STATE

– Morning fog patches over the southern parts, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the north- west, but scattered in the extreme east.

NORTHERN CAPE

Cloudy in the west with morning fog patches, otherwise Partly cloudy, windy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south where it will be cold. The wind along the coast will be light and Variable, becoming moderate to fresh south to south-easterly in the afternoon

WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cool, with scattered showers and thundershowers but Widespread along the south coast. it will be partly cloudy along the west and the south west coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming moderate along the west coast from the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn Index High

WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the south. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south easterly becoming fresh to strong south westerly in the afternoon.

EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the north east. The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh to strong by afternoon.

KWAZULU-NATAL

– Partly cloudy along the coast, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly but strong in places south of Richards Bay, becoming westerly to south- westerly south of Durban from the morning, spreading northwards by the afternoon.
